Determined to be mums!
My chooks are determined to be mums! This one was just found in the hay shed after we removed hay bales. She is sitting on 24 eggs, I never let them sit on more than 12 at a time. It will be interesting to see how many she hatches out. I don’t know how long she has been sitting for but gestation is 3 weeks. It would have taken this hen at least a month to lay this many eggs!
